What happens when your heart starts longs for life pre-tragedy? How do we calm our minds? We focus on Jesus. Jesus was poured out so that in our own seasons of sorrow, we would not be alone. He entered into our suffering so that we could find hope, even when the night pierces our bones and pain won’t rest. He knows suffering intimately and brings the comfort you need. And because He rose, you and your child’s suffering does not get the final word.

We see amazing stories of God interceding on behalf of his people in the Bible, but we can't see it in our own lives. We find ourselves asking "where is God in my suffering?" Job wrestled with that very question. We receive that answer this weekend, through the gift of Easter...the cross, the grave, and the empty tomb.

You may wonder how redemption helps you persevere with hope. Today Job teaches us that while our physical being will perish, we are meant for something so much greater, an eternity with our Father. Job’s revelation that enables him to persevere is that hope in the form of redemption isn’t hidden, and it isn’t far away. It’s living and it’s within reach!

Maybe you have asked yourself "how can I persevere with hope when I feel misunderstood and alone." We can find it through Job's struggle.

Today we look at how to trust God at Rock Bottom. The simple answer is to rest our thoughts and emotions on His shoulders.

In our humanness, it’s perfectly normal to wrestle with accepting hardship. Remember: Jesus also wrestled with accepting adversity.
