Prayer Circles
We believe prayer changes things. When we gather together and pray as a body, something shifts in the spiritual realm. Prison walls fall and chains break at the sound of Jesus' name. Acts 16:25-26
Our Prayer Circles
Once a month or once every two months, a team of Praying Through volunteers lead
Prayer Circles in their communities. These circles start with fellowship where individuals prepare organized outreach for families enduring hospital stays. Then the Prayer Circle changes location and meets outside a designated hospital and prays
for patients, families, and staff.
What You Can Expect
Fellowship
A Praying Through volunteer organizes an informal meetup over coffee or outdoors at a park. Volunteers engage in discussion about the heart behind the ministry and their reason for participating.
Outreach
Together volunteers pen notes of encouragement to families in the hospital. Volunteers attach the notes to a provided book and tie it with a simple bow. As a group, the volunteers will deliver a bag of outreach to a hospital staff member who will be responsible for distributing the items to families.
Prayer
Individuals meet outside the hospital and pray together as a group for the families and hospital staff. Individually volunteers walk the perimeter of the hospital parking lot, praying quietly to the Lord.
