To the father sitting in a hospital room,
You are not alone.
The days and weeks I spent listening to the machines and watching the monitors that were connected to my son were the longest and scariest of my life. Through it all, I leaned on the Truth that I was not alone either.
I knew that our Father was with me.
I also knew He was with my son, the doctors, the nurses, and my son’s entire care team.
I pray that in times of doubt, in times of anger, in times of fear, you remember that God is there with you. (Deuteronomy 31:8)
I pray you won’t let these worldly troubles shake your faith or crush your spirit. (John 16:33)
I pray that you can find comfort knowing the Lord will help you. (Isaiah 41:10)
In His love and care for you, God is surrounding you and your little one.
Signed,
A father who has been there
